We're no longer the top weather story on CNN.

Phew!

In other news, I was able to get back to work on Friday... although the client who's been postponing a day at a time due to weather decided that we should just forget about this past week and start again next week. That worked for me.

We were able to bring food supplies to my in-laws (all right, they're both elderly and my father-in-law is wheelchair-bound and we won't let my mother-in-law drive in any kind of weather), so that was part of our outing today.

(how boring is this entry? about as exciting as my life lately?)

I've been beta-reading like crazy, which means I haven't had time to write for myself. Not that I'm particularly inspired. I read over my Sirius Year 7 fic but that was days ago; I want to finish it/don't want to finish it tonight. I didn't get quite as much sleep as I wanted last night, and all the Dogstar people kept me hopping. That will have to be enough creative writing for one day.
