Back in the middle of the month, I asked all y'all for some BSG prompts. I'm finally done writing them all.

Last night, lostinapapercup and I were talking and I said give me a fic prompt and I'll probably have a story for you by tomorrow.

Now, I don't usually write Cowboy Bebop fanfiction. Most of the stuff I've read has been pretty terrible, ill-conceived, badly characterized. I don't like Spike as some suave romantic hero because he's not Fabio, if you know what I mean. I like things fraught with peril: that's what the series is about. We don't know a lot about the early days of Spike's relationship with Julia, but those of you who know me know that I thrive absolutely on backstory and if it's not there, I'll make it up in a way I think works. Triangles fascinate me. I also like little slice-of-life things, and that's why this particular prompt appealed to me so much. With that in mind...
