Did you ever notice?

Some days, things just don't go as smoothly as you'd like?
[snarf] Like most of them.
We've got the technology, we've got the dish installed, we've got the stuff for high-speed internet access on our server/PC, but the receivers for the tv sets never arrived. After spending hours on the phone with the company we ordered from (oh, by the way, they were having problems with their phone lines, so the phone would ring 800 times and someone would finally answer and I'd given them my order information and then we'd get disconnected, then we'd start all over again and I'd be on hold for another half-hour), they finally admittetd that the order was hung up in processing and never submitted. But they're really sorry and will ship it out first thing tomorrow.
But... we will have high-speed internet today, dammit. And my current ISP says they'll still provide email accounts and my web-space without dialup.
The tech here, Sean, is extremely nice. And in the meantime, I've started on my original fic. I like the opening, which is always a good sign. It just flowed, baby.
I want a dog.
