No more Coffi and Scones with a Side Plate of Sarcasm. That was good for a while, but it's a new season, yo ho! and I've wanted to use this one for a while.
This journal name will last until the next reinvention grabs me.

I've said this time and again: there are precious few adult sexual relationships in the HP books. I personally don't see canon evidence for Remus/Sirius, unless you do an awful lot of reading between the lines--and I don't think JKR is that subtle. If she wants to give evidence of something, she does it. I believe that we don't see this relationship either because it doesn't exist or because it doesn't matter.
The only adult sexual relationships, really, are James/Lily, Arthur/Molly, and Vernon/Petunia. We know that Lucius and Narcissa are married, but we don't see them enough to have any clue as to what they do or don't do. And this is because the books are all titled 'Harry Potter and the [fill in the blanks].' Not 'Lucius Malfoy and the Women He Loved' (as much as Jason Isaacs said he hoped for that!), or 'Sirius Black and the Stubby Boardman Phenomenon,' or anyone else and their relationships. It's about Harry and what he sees. Not about S/R, or Draco/Hermione, or Dumbledore/McGonagall, or Snape/New Exotic Female DADA teacher who will tame him, straighten his teeth, and turn him kind and loving, or any of that other wonderfully imagined stuff from fandom.
So maybe JKR will prove me wrong about S/R in the next few books. If she does, I'll be so very happy for the OTW people. Until that time, I'm happy to share perspectives on it with anyone, but I won't write the slash if I don't see it. And I don't have to read it if I'm not in the mood.
See? It's a very fair universe. We all get to do what we want with it.
And I still think that Sirius and Remus were platonic friends. Just my opinion.
