Claire Stanfield is the beloved host of a popular children's TV show. Hunky Thor Odinson stars on a lifeguard show, filmed at the set next door. When one of the former child stars from Claire's show auditions for (and is cast on) Thor's show, an old rivalry is reignited.
(Plus, it's a musical.)
