We had our reveal tonight at
ineedmyfics. I can't wait to go delve into the stories, they all look so delicious! I got a gorgeous story from
rirenec for The Outsiders (SE Hinton). It's just beautiful, and I love it to pieces. You can read it here. Go do it, because seriously, it's amazing.
I wrote a few things. It's a small exchange, so I'm always bound to be assigned to someone I know. I was lucky enough to draw
lostinapapercup and
erised1810, since I volunteered to write multiple stories, and I was very glad for the opportunities! I also wrote a little thing for
vivien because I could. I'll post more about my stories after all my recipients have had a chance to read.
We don't have the exchange stay anonymous like they do for that week after Yuletide goes live. Maybe in the future we'll get to that point, but for now we feel it's enough to be gifted with a story. Besides, we're small, and it's probably easy to figure out who wrote what if you know enough of the players. It's been fun! This was our fourth year! I hope everyone who participated had as much fun as I did. Thank you, everyone, for making it such a lovely experience.
Prompts are still open, if anyone's interested. There are some great requests sitting there.

In other news, I've been working away at line edits for the next anthology in which my work will be included. Our release date is October 15. The anthology is called Happily Ever Afterlife, and it contains eight reimagined fairy tales with an undead twist! I'm pretty excited for it. In the meantime, if you have a hankering for dragon stories in many different genres, you can still get Dragonthology!! As the days grow cooler and the nights get longer, don't you want a nice warm breath of flame to keep you warm? Of course you do.
