I went to a con in Michigan which was nice but strange and my write up is over here and now I'm trying very hard to not be sick and find the energy to apply for jobs.

Sounds like you had some fun! And that you came away with Con Crud (ask anyone). There's a scifi con here in November that I usually miss because of travel, but I should look and see if it's being held this year. Yeah, it is (http://www.orycon.org/orycon33/). Hmm. I don't know how interested I am, though, but I can see.

*nods* I know of con crud and this feels like it might be it. And there's the fact I work around undergrads on a big university campus so getting something from them is possible too and also fun stress sickness.

I'm glad I went to this one but it was weird going on my own and driving to it every day.

Yeah, I've done that before with cons. It can be fun if you're in the mood to be solo about things.

There were some good moments but due to the drive back and forth, I wasn't as ready to be solo as I'd like to have been. I think that's another reason I'm feeling worn out. I had a good time and I'm glad I did it but it just made me more sure that the next con I go to, I want friends there.
