Kitties, Kitties.

Tomorrow I take Klondike & co. to the vet. I'm sitting here with such mixed emotions looking at a piece of paper with a name and phone number on it for someone who may want to adopt Klondike and one female kitten (if any are female). See how long it takes me to fall in love with a cat? Not long at all. I'd insist on seeing the home and making sure they'd be indoor-only cats and well cared-for. Hey, I get to make the rules. Right now, they're my cats.
My mom-in-law wants two of the kittens, which is okay. We told her if it didn't work out, we'd take them back. Hannah wanted one of the kittens, but really... we've got four cats already and don't need more. And there are always kittens who need homes. One of the nice things about this town is that it has a place called the C.A.T. or Cat Adoption Team; it's a no-kill shelter just for cats. They're always full, of course, and never taking new cats, but it's a great place for people who want to adopt feline pets and I've recommended it to a number of people. They've all been pleased as punch with their kitties.
Rambling. I do that sometimes. I'm tired and it's been a busy day between work and writing and stuff. And oh, big thank yous to everyone at
dogstar_academy for making Sirius so fun again. I've been playing him for more than four years now, which is hard to believe. He's easy, like a favorite pair of worn-in jeans, but sometimes I forget just how much fun (and how much work) he can be... and how brilliant he is and I wish I was that smart. So, diolch yn fawr, you know who you are. And... no, that doesn't really rhyme even if it looks like it should.
Also. Hey. Yo.
lostinapapercup: I have nothing but utter love for you, and this one word tonight: Julian.

Are you trying to kill me?

Not to mention poor Kate, I think she's fainted.
