For my birthday, my sweetheart got me, among other things, the Knopf Guide to England and Wales. It's amazing.

sosirius and I got a bunch of cards, but... it snowed! On my birthday! We had no snow all last winter, and here it is, only autumn, and...
Hannah and I stayed in by the fire and built Legos and played Monopoly. Kind of peaceful and nice. Everyone else went and did stuff, but we just stayed and hung out. I loved having the time with her, but it was a little depressing, to tell the truth, to not have anyone ask what I wanted to do for my birthday, and not to have a family-type day.
But... just because it deserves showing off:
