Things I Learned This Week
Mar. 21st, 2011 05:26 pm1. I ought to stay really far away from Cheez-Its.
2. It was worth the extra pit stop for the Tsunami Stout shirt.
3. Even someone who's mostly couch potato can climb a 6-story sand dune if she puts her mind to it. Also, she can climb back down without falling on her ass.
4. It's much easier to be angry and annoyed with people when they're not around.
5. Write when the mood strikes, even if it means you leave for the beach an hour late. Odds are the beach isn't going anywhere.
6. Ain't a damn thing wrong with driving fast through the mountains singing along to Cee Lo Green at the top of your lungs with your fifteen-year-old. Try it. It's liberating.

100wordstories. The only way to revitalize it is to start writing there again, so since I've been working a little bit furiously -- surprisingly -- on original stuff (not for any of those outstanding prompts, I'm sorry, they'll happen in their own time) I put up 100 words about one of the characters. Please please please come and write with us. No, I don't feel quite as bad as Sarah Shahi pleading with people to please please please watch her show on Thursdays, but it's close.
Also, for your RP goodness,ididwhatwithwho. I don't know when I got all reluctant about RPing, but please, someone come RP with me. Ping me. I have a whole stable of characters ready and waiting.
