Sleep, or lack thereof.
Feb. 16th, 2005 06:55 pmSo why is it that on a day after I've actually had eight hours' sleep, I'm still exhausted?
But I would like to update. At Hannah's school they have what are called student-led conferences. The teachers give the kids a guideline sheet to follow and the kids run the conference themselves. Mitch took the day off and went to the conference which was a great thing, because I'm in Hannah's classroom every day and know exactly what they're doing. He doesn't, so it was great for her to be able to show off what she's learned.
It was sweet to see it, and it was nice to have a family-oriented afternoon, and that's about it.
And on a completely non-LJ-related note: RIP, Howard. May your journey have been swift and peaceful and painless.
