So, kind having an off day. Dunno why and not quite sure... went to the movies with my friend and coworker and most fabulous hair artiste Theresa for the Johnny Depp-fest, which was cool. I liked it again. I think I'm all done seeing it in theatres, though. And last night tried to do a bunch of the Pirate quizzes referenced by
sff_corgi, but apparently Quizilla was down. So all I could get was my pirate name. I'm now officially, or unofficially, Captain Anne Flint.
I like it.
Slow day on Seren-Ci, I think... I've not had a chance to play very much. Lots of competition for the computer, which is basically irritating as it's mine. But I'm nice, so I share.
Not a hell of a lot else. Sometimes I forget to eat meals. I forgot today--the popcorn & H2O at the movies doesn't count as a full meal, does it.
People should see our business, though, it's so cute. It resides in a house in the part of town creatively called Old Town. Our house (Theresa's and mine) was built in 1918 and it's so darned cute. The doorways are arched and the floors are wood and... it's such a great place. I love how it feels walking in the door... like a breath of fresh air compared to the last place I had my massage practice.
And we also have a ghost. It's a cat-ghost. I see it all the time; it likes my closet. I don't know what its name is yet, but I credit ein cath-ysbryd with keeping the place mouse-free. Hear that, Wocky?
I'm glad to be in a happily haunted old house. It's fun.
