Hannah has always said that Goblet of Fire is her favorite Harry Potter book. I've had mixed feelings about it... until now. I'm almost done with it for the umpteenth time and as I listen to it (the Jim Dale version), I'm appreciating it more than at any other time. There is so much detail that's masterfully mixed in, and so much that foreshadows things from Order of the Phoenix that it almost convinces me the rumors are true: she did have most of it planned out in advance.

Right now, we're paused at the place where Harry and Cedric have just got past the giant spider and are on their way to the Triwizard Tournament Cup.

Don't do it, you two!

Sigh. I'm going to listen to OotP next, even though it will break my heart. siriusstar and erised1810 and sff_corgi, I will undoubtedly be leaning on all of you heavily.

I think you're a brave lady to go through... it... again! I know I'll be here if you feel the need to rant about it. ack. I don't think I want to touch the thing between now and July 16, it'll set me back to not reading HBP at all.
