Thelma and Louise - the wrapup

I don't like it when vacations end. I did manage to get up @ 5:30 and be a good alarm clock so we made it to the airport on time. And
sff_corgi got seated and everything, so that was that. I was a nice hostess and waited to hear from her that they'd given her seats so she wouldn't be stuck at PDX all day by herself. I was kinda hoping... but no. Oh well. Next visit.
Got back home right around 9am and crawled back to bed hoping for just a cat-nap, but ended up sleeping till noon. Then I had to go to work. Hmm. Sunday massages. Not a bad thing. Last massage was for my sweetheart (Hannah played out in the hallway, her choice), then we all went to dinner. Mmm. Cucina Cucina, Hannah's favorite place.
I drew a quick picture of Remus for
sunnydaylee on the placemat. I'll have to get it to her eventually. It's just a little cartoon and I might hate it in the morning. We'll see.
And yeah, Corgi made it back safe and sound.
Non-sequitur of the evening: need a new mouse. I have a Logitech cordless wheel mouse, but it's starting to misbehave no matter what. These things eat batteries for meals three times a day, but it's so nice not to have that blasted cord in the way. I might have to make a trip to Geek Central (aka Frye's) tomorrow for a new one.
Did I say how spectacular our girl-drive-trip was? We saw some awesome beautiful scenery. Even the fog on the coast was amazing... so much for watching the whales migrate, but still. It was lovely.
Next weekend we're going to Victoria (BC) for a family-style vacation. I think they were jealous! and my sweetheart planned it all while I was gone with Corgi. No Driving Involved--we're taking the train to Seattle and a seaplane to Victoria. It's supposed to rain, but hey! this is the Northwest. It's supposed to rain. It's supposed to rain. It's supposed to rain. Welcome, autumn.
