Greetings from Cape Cod! I haven't tried dialing in yet but if I can, I'll add more. Trip was fine, no problems.
ETA: Yeah! I finally managed to make my ISP's remote dialup work. I've tried it before (
sff_corgi can attest to that) but unsuccessfully.
So yesterday we flew seemingly all day, got to Boston (Logan Airport? You have not changed!), waited about 45 minutes for our luggage, got the rental car, and drove to Hyannis. Our hotel there? No record whatsoever of our reservation, but the front-desk person was very nice and said she'd get it straightened out. We got a room key, lugged our luggage all the way up there, opened the door, and... the room was someone else's.
Yikes. We got another key, fortunately the second room was clean and ready. Ate, went and soaked in the hot tub, went back to the room, played computer games with Hannah while Mitch watched some TV and promptly fell asleep around 11. And slept till 10. I was overdue for a night's sleep.
This morning we got up and drove to Truro, where we're staying, and this is such a lovely house! And the bay is [points] right there, and we can see Provincetown from the windows, and it's quiet and warm (inside) and beautiful. And my whole family is here except for my brother-in-law, which is too bad, but he'll be here on Thanksgiving.
Family. How many days do you give me before I start complaining? Heh.
More next time I can wrestle my computer back from Hannah and dial in.

Bebop's fandom is just as polarized and volatile as the HP world, by the way. People are funny.
