sff_corgi gets here, and I keep thinking: fuck! I don't want to drive that far for so many days in a row. Getting from sunny_daylee's house near the Nevada border to the Pacific coast is going to be hellish.
It's making me miserable just contemplating it. Plus, I promised C autumnal weather, and it's 85 degrees here today. And my back is sore, not from paddling yesterday but from lifting a hefty container of cat litter (fuuuuuuuuuuck) and I have to work tomorrow in the heat. My daughter just bitched her way all through her homework, which really was not at all a bad assignment, and I'm tired and cranky. Can you tell?
But at least I have reservations for our first night out. In a place with a hot tub in the room. Yeah. Breakfast the next morning absolutely included.
Problem is, I don't want to drive I-5 both ways. It's boring. The coast is so much prettier. It's grey whale migration season. Bah. I'll figure it out after a night's sleep. I wanna I wanna I wanna.
Anyone who's read my Blue Hawaii story: do you think it belongs on the Sugar Quill? I'm really tempted. I'm bad. I have a N.E.W.T. so I could... but... will it offend too many people? They do allow parodies. C had a good idea: Hey!hellcatjelybean, you're an official SQ beta-er... what do you think? R-rated is allowed...

No, yn onest, I am not stressing about it. I was just looking at getting from here to there and there to here the wrong way. It's all fixed now. Surprise. I'm fairly decent at problem-solving and yeah! vacation.
I wish I were as smart as my #1 alter-ego, but at least I'm getting closer every day. Heh.
