At the vet's this morning I met a beautiful English bulldog named Tyson. He was the same size as Chesty but he a) didn't try to eat my shoe and foot and b) didn't slobber all over or growl. He was the sweetest thing.

There was also a very big golden/lab mix who delivered many kisses. When I take Stones in for his ultrasound tomorrow I'll probably meet even more woofs.

Tyson needs to be PERMANENTLY retired as a name for dogs. I am totally over it, even when it's referring to the chicken instead.

But yeah, that's what English bullies are supposed to be like: extremely amiable and mellow-tempered. Occasionally, we get Chesties and... whatshisname down in Key West.
