Celestial Seasonings Tangerine-Orange Zinger and Teekanne Pomegranate Delight. I go through cups of this nonsense every day.

This is actually fairly tiny, a silk wall hanging my husband brought back from Norway. It's my very favorite.


Of course, don't tell that to Spike, who has the place of honor on the wall in the dining area among Indian batik wall hangings and various other embroideries. We're kind of eclectic in our taste.


Also in our dining area, an original oil pastel of dancing dogs.

wanderlustlover requested the thing in my house that will never fail to either make me smile or make my heart feel safe. I went for the former, because you've seen enough pictures of cats by now.


My collection of Swarovski crystals, ready to be beaded into jewelry. I'm not immune to shiny shiny things!

And last but not least, vivien requested raccoons.


Sometimes I call her Justeeny. Not that she's small or anything, it just fits.


Justine's like a dog. She sleeps on my front door mat with her paws curled under her head. I like to think of her as my protector and mascot. Also, she's the only one I've named, just for the record.

I still owe skygiants and shireheart their requests. I haven't forgotten!
