What the hell's a FYI?

I'm going to California tomorrow.

LA-direction.

We're going to Disneyland. Then we're going to have fun in the desert. Then on Sunday if we feel like it, we might catch the Red Sox at the Padres. Then on Monday we're going to lounge by the pool and drink conspicuously blue drinks. I'm going to insist on fine dining and fine wining. Not whining.

In other words, we're having a little family vacation, and it's been too long since we did, so I'm off. I'll bring Señor Laptop, aka Little Dragon, but don't expect to see me. At all. I'm going AWOL.

See y'all on Tuesday.

Oh, and chrysantza, I got the package today. Mmm. I'm wearing Mars right now. it's kind of a floral-patchouli-some-earth-scent-undertone. I like it. Thank you! And I also want to wave a little shoutout to livii for being on the early bandwagon with this particular Amy Winehouse track. You got it right, miss. It's one of those songs that gets stuck in your brain and you can't get rid of it no matter how many times you hit your head against the top of the bureau.

I like her voice. In fact, I just ordered the CD. I'm all about the good music.

And thanks for the good wishes! So far, so good. Disney California Adventure loved us today. Minimal lines! For a Saturday in June, that's almost unheard of. Disneyland itself was a little bit of a different story, but it's always more crowded across the plaza.

Hannah, of course, has been completely delighted by this trip so far. She had a blast at the theme park. We're roller coaster nuts, so we tried to get on as many of those as we could. It's been fun!

i have to still get ued to her voice. it's just htat it sometiems soudns to me as if she's drunk or on somethgn else but eh well.. what i've heard isshe's first listenedto a zillion motown and other sixties kidn of soul adn tires to weave that into this abum. if yo ugetthecd you shoudl listen to' back to black' which is the title track of course. i' mactually wondering why i evne said rehab ws the onl ysong of hers i liked.

i'd like to do some disney rides. the closest i can getto is paris but i hope to get to the us one time and have one of those days like te lack of liens you're talkignaboutright now so i can do all those rides. i only liek roaler-coastersif theyr'e not constantly doign saltos though so i'd onl ygo fort he ones that hmerely have lots of curves adn double turns.
