Oh Darlin's...

Take a look at your LJ friends list, then list things you want to say to ten different LJ friends. DO NOT state who these people are. DO NOT confirm or deny any "comment speculation". Then tag five people.
Wow. I wasn't specifically tagged that I know of. But I know I've been mentioned in a few of these things. I always wonder how badly people feel if they're not mentioned, so I'll tell you up front I'm not going to write about any of you that I'm in touch with a lot, or that I chat with every day, or that I know really well because... you already know what I'd want to say about you. And if you don't see yourself here and want me to say something about you... well, just ask. I'm easy. And honest.
1. You brilliant S.O.B., I wish every last day that you were still playing with me. Those were some of the best times and you made me feel like one of the guys. Which now you know I'm not... not really. But still.
2. Man, is your inner 10-year-old spot-on perfect. She always makes me grin and grab people by the shoulder and say look at this! I'm so glad you're with us.
3. You have such dedication to what you do and even when you're feeling insecure about yourself, it's so obvious that you have this huge good heart. I admire you for that, and for your creativity, and for all that stuff.
4. You don't know it, but you're one of my favorite people online. I don't comment to your LJ a lot, but I read it. And even though you like to paint yourself as scared and shy and unappealing and all that stuff but I have to say, I think you're great: smart, and witty, and talented, and very creative. You know I adore your characterizations so much. So. Yeah. That's that.
5. STOP WORKING 3 JOBS AND GET YOUR ASS BACK ONLINE. It's less fun without you here. Sadly, you won't even see this.
6. I really like your irreverence; it both puts a whole new perspective on things and sometimes, I really do get it.
7. When we used to email every day, that was really fun. I guess we have less in common now than we did then, but I still have all those messages saved. It's fun to compare notes on a character we both love and both write, although we write him very differently.
8. About half of it's all your fault. Happily so, though! I wouldn't be doing half the things I do now if it weren't for you, and I don't think you even read this journal much any more but if you're reading this, you know who you are.
9. You can be as healthy as you want to be, because you have this amazing will of spirit. I know times are tough now what with jobs and the creative project you're looking at, but I've always found that if you do what you love, all the right rewards follow along.
10. I wish I'd been feeling better when you came all the way out here and we were able to visit for a day. Could have done so much more! and in a more organized way. I still think you should move here, you've got the right temperament for this corner of the world.
And there we go. Now I feel all accomplished and everything. I'm tagging not a soul for this one, but I am kind of (ab)using it as a way of saying hi to some of you I barely ever get to talk with any more... at least in this guise.
