The rest of them are all behind the veil. Voldemort hid 'em there. That's why he was so keen on going to the Department of Mysteries. He didn't really want the damn prophecy: he wanted his soul-mates back.
Dumbledore really messed up his hand reaching behind there for the ring. Bad Albus! It stingsssssssss, preciousssssssss.
So what if this totally makes Dumbledore into a complete and utter liar, and it negates finding the BOWL OF DOOM in the cave at the end of HBP? It's my story and I'm stickin' to it. So in Book 7, Harry gets to go beyond the veil to have a Big Adventure with his godfather, gets to meet his parents, and finds out that R.A.B. is really just an acronym for Really A Berk, which is what Voldemort ends up being once his remaining pieces are reunited.

Date: 2006-04-19 05:02 pm (UTC)btw - why is Spike's hair green?
Re: Hee
Date: 2006-04-19 06:06 pm (UTC)Although I have to say, Spike's hair color has been a topic of much contention among fangirls worldwide who think he'd be just perfect if only his hair was, say, black or dark brown. But at a recent appearance, Watanabe-san confirmed that Spike's hair is, indeed, dark green. No explanation given.
Of course, I have a perfectly reasonable explanation for it, but it's mine and no one else can have it.

Date: 2006-04-19 06:30 pm (UTC)By the way, I semi-retired as a beta reader from the Sugar Quill last night. I'm keeping my existing authors but not taking any new ones. It's a happy compromise for the moment: I'm not leaving anyone in the lurch, but neither do I have to start all over again with people who are far more excited about the fandom than I am.
