I'm working on this slowly.

I've got iTunes on shuffle, and whatever songs it gives me, I'm assigning to each of you in alphabetical order. Just for grins. If it resonates for you, hey, say something. If not, well, blame iTunes, not me. And for those of you who are wondering, there are 2 things for which I have absolutely no restraint: books and music. I'm dangerous around those two things with a credit card.

Not all my CDs are imported yet. I was wondering the other day where all my EC went. I guess he's next.

Wow. There are a lot of you. That was fun. I have a wider variety than this list shows, so go figure. Seems like iTunes gets stuck in areas from time to time, but... whatever, this was just random.

Oh, man, the mental image of Viv singing "Piggies" is adorable.

I don't know the one you posted for me, but the title doesn't look off!

I think it's one of Patsy's... later cuts. Goes something like: if I could see the world through the eyes of a child, what a wonderful world it would be... etc. It's not one of my favorite of her songs, but it's still pretty good.

ROFL!

Give Me Novacaine after/during major dental work?!
Take away the sensation inside
Bitter sweet migraine in my head
Its like a throbbing tooth ache of the mind
I can't take this feeling anymore

Drain the pressure from the swelling,
The sensations overwhelming,
Give me a kiss goodnight and everything will be alright
Tell me that I won't feel a thing
So give me Novacaine

Out of body and out of mind
Kiss the demons out of my dreams
I get the funny feeling, that's alright
Jimmy says it's better than air,
I'll tell you why

Drain the pressure from the swelling,
The sensations overwhelming,
Give me a kiss goodnight and everything will be alright,
Tell me that I won't feel a thing,
So give me Novacaine

Oh Novacaine

Drain the pressure from the swelling,
The sensations overwhelming
Give me a kiss goodnight and everything will be alright,
Tell me Jimmy I won't feel a thing,
So give me Novacaine

My first thought when I saw this putting the list together was... I bet Hooper ain't gonna like that it's U2. I had no reason to suspect that, but it's what I thought.

I do have CDs for you, though.

Hiya - I prowled your LJ after being intrigued by your username, and I was wondering if you were planning on continuing 'Raising Sirius'? I like what you've done so far.

You've got non-Friend posting turned completely off, so I kinda couldn't ask you over there.

Sorry 'bout that. I added you to my flist and to answer your question yes I have every intention to actually finish the thing. I just updated in the middle of last week and I finished another chapter and sent it to my beta at the end of the week. Now it's just waiting to get it back from her, which sometimes takes a while.

There's not a lot of Big Bill out there, but he's great. That one's from a... I want to say circa 1927 thing, but I could be wrong. If you can't find it, let me know.

I should have put myself in there and let it pick a song for me. Of course, it's not like I don't have the thing on shuffle every day anyhow.

And yeah, that's a good one. I like it a lot. I go back and forth on being a U2 fan for lots of reasons, some of which have to do with their music and some of which don't.

Lennon, huh? Well, I can't complain about that. Lennon was a top-notch musician. Sadly, though, my knowledge of his music doesn't extend much beyond "Imagine". And "Intuition" is something I should trust a bit more than I currently do.

Sounds like I now I have a motivation to go forth and learn more. :) I shall be downloading "Intuition" from iTunes tonight.

This one's from an album called Rei Momo, and it's about my favorite David Byrne stuff ever. And yeah, he's the Talking Heads guy. This album is all Latin-beat music. I adore it.
