1. I care not about the Super Bowl. Sorry, Deborah.

2. We are still without a refrigerator. Well, that's not true. But we don't have our new fridge in yet. So we're walking back and forth to get food from where the old one is sitting, lonely and miserable, just by the front door.

3. What. No Starbuck's this morning? Too many time-dependent errands? This must be remedied when I go to get Hannah.

4. Crappy cell-phone pictures of our remodel.

5. I'm changing my LJ username. It will be revealed all in good time.

Umm... well, let me see. I think it was this thing yesterday where like 22 guys get dressed in spandex and stuff their suits so they look real muscular and all, and then go out on this long green grassy area and try to beat the shit out of each other without anyone seeing? And then some other guys dressed like zebras whistle at them a lot.

Yeah. That's it.

They also touch each other's butts a lot. You can't forget that part, it's very important.

Also, your house looks beautiful! Those wood floors are so attractive, and I'm coveting your dining room and library. :)

Your house looks amazing. And your cat looks so happy. I'm happy for you.
And re the superbowl--I tuned in to watch the Stones at half time and see a cute Budweiser commercial with a little horse. But I did find out later that my brother's team won by one point. I prefer college ball.

Boy, first that meme test puts me into the 3 level of Hell for Gluttony, now I have to put Covetousness at the top of the list! Simply gorgeous! And Jack reminds me of my Raven. Hum...feel like grandkittys?

Your house is incredibly gorgeous! Wow! I'm going to pack my bags and show up on your doorstep with my kitties!

And Jack looks so happy. Russian Blue kitties are not the kind to be happy with disturbances in their home. Now he's king of the kitchen again! *gives him smooches*

We are all confused by what is where.

Except the cats. They don't care. They sit everywhere, no matter what.

I'm rather pleased by it all myself. It'll take me a while to start living in the living room instead of the kitchen, which used to be the living room. But for now... yeah. It's pretty.

And clean. It'll never be this clean again. Even my spiders have moved along for the duration.

Part of me wishes I had 'before' pictures too. I could probably dig up a few.

There are still things that need to be done. For instance, the disposal? Not working so very well. And paint touch-up, and the ceiling fan controls are in backwards so 1 is highest and 4 is lowest. Tell me who in their right minds wires things that way? But it's not mine to fix. It's our contractor's thing to fix, and he will. He's not getting off that easily.

Ha! Ha, I say!

I didn't realize that five months would feel so long towards the end, though. The worst part was watching it rain. And rain. And rain, and rain, so that the plywood on the floors wouldn't dry out enough so they could put down the hardwood. That probably added 3 weeks to the schedule. And boy, was it nice today to be here by myself with no workers around to disturb things.

Me? Much more of a baseball or basketball fan, when I take the time to be a team sports fan these days. Old loyalties die hard.

I watched a little of the game, but I wasn't really paying attention. I was beta reading instead. The game was just Bettis noise. I mean, background noise.

Heh! I don't think Jack is capable of making grandkitties. In fact, I'm pretty sure that none of my cats are.

There are some strays hanging around, though... but none of them are Russian Bleus (Jack insisted on that spelling).

Ha! Jack would like you to know that he stayed King of the Kitchen the entire time, never giving up his claim on the space.

It was funny at the hotel: he and Hector kept trying to find the tallest piece of furniture so they could play that kitty ha! I am UP HIGHER THAN YOU AND I WIN game. Unfortunately for them all, the TV set was the tallest thing, and it had a narrow little top edge. Didn't keep them from trying, though.

It took all of the cats about 30 seconds to get used to being back home. I think they were all just immensely relieved they weren't going to the vet.

1. Not a Seahawks fan, so I could care less.
2. Yes. I will endeavor to remember that.
3. Got an iced tea lemonade instead, but it was still Starbucks.
4. Green with envy? Not your color. :)
5. Nah. It's just time. I have a strong Gemini ascendant and can't ever stay with the same thing for very long, except in a few areas of my life. Time to head 'em up, move 'em out. It's fun to change. I embrace change.
