in_the_blueWench Esmerelda here checking in. Ahoy, i have nothin' much t' add. They''e started construction on our house project, finally, after waitin' since April. So for the next 4 months I'll be awake early and t' bed early, mateys, and that's the whole sad story. A pence for an old woman o'de sea?
My favorite thing about Talk Like a Pirate day is the tag line on the website: The only day of the year when you can talk like a pirate and not be entirely insane.
(I suppose that's up for grabs.)
Writing Challenge Second.
I love this month's theme. I think everyone should write something for the challenge, the theme being falling. It's so multifaceted: it can mean a literal, physical falling or falling in or out of love, or falling from grace, or falling down on the job, or falling into a dream, or...
So. Come write with me. You can even write one in pirate-speak.
