Hey, I'm nothing if not accommodating. I've been tagged again, this time by
liebchen127. I feel so popular all of a sudden.
1. Total number of books I've owned: Captain, I kenna count the number! I keep buying more and more! And getting them as gifts! It has to be in the very high hundreds, if not a thousand. [Captain: counting books is... illogical.]
2. The last book I bought: Douglas Adams, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe (for Hannah).
3. The last book I read: Re-read, to be precise, before the movie, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Douglas Adams again). We go in waves at my house. But the last book I started and haven't yet finished is Clouds of Witness, Dorothy L. Sayers.
4. Five books that mean a lot to me:
Selected Poems and Two Plays, William Butler Yeats
The Captain's Verses, Pablo Neruda
Water Dancer, Jenifer Levin (my sister's first book)
Love Medicine, Louise Erdrich
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, JK Rowling (I waffle between this and Order of the Phoenix as being the more meaningful, but POA is certainly more enjoyable)
5. Tag five people and have them fill this out in their LJs...
[rubs hands together again, bwahahaha]

Date: 2005-05-18 07:30 pm (UTC)Your sister is an author??? That's great. How many books has she written (so far)?
And re-reading "Hitchhikers Guide" before watching the movie sounds like a good idea. I think I'll follow your example.
PoA: I second that.
