I'll reserve a table for Halloween night.

Happy Halloween! For those who like to celebrate, I hope you're having fun! This is the first year since Hannah was wee that we haven't gone out trick-or-treating, and I can't say I'm sad about it. We had our costume moment on Saturday and no, no, no, you don't get to see the pictures! At least not of me! And if you did, you wouldn't recognize me anyway. You'd only see Joan Jett.

But I digress. Those of you who know me probably know that I wouldn't be able to pass up mention of Halloween without also mentioning the Cowboy Bebop movie, a lot of which takes place on Halloween. I like how it sets the scene for Halloween being a huge celebration on Mars, with its undercurrent of Vincent and his hello, I'm going to destroy the whole world now thing. If you haven't seen it, I recommend tonight. It's as good a night as any, and more relevant than most!
