But both my Spikes do, so I'm letting them... in comments. Feel free to let your characters join in and play, as many as you want, each in a separate comment because why the hell not? You just have to let at least one of mine go first because otherwise, you won't know the questions.

I get to unveil this now. Despite the week away with no roleplay whatsoever and just between Beth and Spike at outpost_12 and milliways_bar, lostinapapercup and I have exceeded our NaNoRP goal of 50,000 words. We actually passed it last night, but after midnight. And now on to today's total (we... uh... might not quite be done for the night, but I am):

56,225 / 50,000 (112.5%)

In other news, I'm slowly catching up on things I missed during the Thanksgiving week away. Again, my plea: if you posted anything you want me to look at, let me know.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but man, lostinapapercup, you keep me on my toes and make me think and you make my characters think. So even when what they have to think about is hard -- not the pretty, easy RP moments that are fun but don't really ring authentic to me so often -- I appreciate you greatly. Working with you stretches my writing skills in such big ways and I didn't even know I had those ways in me. Thank you, my dear.
