So.

As most of you know, sff_corgi is here. She woke up this morning to find out her mom back home had passed away sometime between last night and this morning. We're working on the logistical pieces of things that we can from here, like getting her back home and seeing what we can do from across the country to make things less complicated. I'm not sure exactly what we can do from here other than make lots of phone calls. If I could go with her and help take care of things, I would do it, but right now that's an impossibility for me and it would probably be an imposition on her.

Those of you in southern Florida, though, being closer, can do lots. She's being very stoic and in shock right now, but when she gets back she'll need people in person to lean on. I'm counting on you guys. And she will be too, no matter what she says. When I know her flight return I'll post it: can anyone pick her up at the airport and get her home? That'd be great.

And... that's kind of it from here for now. I'll keep you updated as I can. Think good thoughts for her, yeah? Thanks.
