That stated, it's double-canon day, or at least adaptive double-canon day. I love canon day. In case you don't know, it's the day when your canon comes out. Right? Right. milliways_bar, be kind to my wizard. He's book-canon Howl. That stated, I'm a big fan of Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli (okay, go ahead and say it, much of the animation coming out of there looks the same but who cares? it's beautiful), so I had to get the DVD too.
Double-canon day because Goblet of Fire is also out today. My most discerning critical audience -- my daughter -- informs me that Goblet is the best of all the Potter movies so far. I have to say I agree with her, though I have a few nits to pick. So what. It was a well-done film and I like it and I'm glad it's in our library. I almost forgot about that one in the excitement over Howl's Moving Castle, though. So maybe in honor of Howl, I'll let him out tonight and he can play.
Other news? Oh yeah, I wrote today. That felt good. Finished Chapter Four for my original fic. That makes me very, very happy.
