Last Time, I Promise!
Apr. 23rd, 2005 11:31 amOK. The writing challenge closes tomorrow. It's been a blast, and this is the last time I'll mention it. It's been such a joy to wake up every morning with notifications of new pieces of writing in my in-box.
I also have a poll about continuing with these types of things here. Fill it out if you haven't done so already. So far the votes are running for monthly writing challenges on my LJ (as opposed to making a new community for them), so if you have strong feelings about it one way or the other, fill out the poll.
As advertised that very first day, FBI Special Agent Dale Bartholomew Cooper's piece is finally done and posted. He's hard for me to write for several reasons, not the least of which is that I'm less familiar with him than any of my other characters. But challenge is a good thing, and I've never shied away from it before and won't start now.
But ahem. I will write a treatise on why Coop scares me or doesn't scare me some other time. Right now it's Saturday, and I'm going to head away for a while. Things to do, places to go, people to see. It's Oregon, it's Saturday, and that means it's raining. I had sushi last night. All is well with the world.
