Nay, Forsooth.
Apr. 22nd, 2005 09:53 amMy daughter's drama club play has been postponed due to the lead actor's illness.
No understudies in elementary school. It was rescheduled for 2 weeks out because next week is Outdoor School for the 5/6 class, but we won't be here 2 weeks out, so I ran downstairs and mentioned it to the teacher so that Hannah wouldn't be penalised and miss the play after all her hard work. No, you can't schedule the play for a Friday night before a long weekend, diolch yn fawr.
So, Hannah's disappointed in the extreme. I hope it doesn't set her off too badly.

Off to beta-read. Might as well be productive if I'm not doing make-up.

There's been *cough* moderate interest expressed in me hosting these types of things more regularly. I'm almost game; I write every day because it makes me a better writer. I don't write long fiction every day, but I write something every day.
