Where has the time gone?
Apr. 5th, 2005 11:03 pmI'm trying desperately to catch up on my friends list. I don't know if I'll be able so I once again send out the plea: if you've posted anything that you think I would have commented on but I haven't and you want me to... point me to it, please?
Seems the more I do, the less I get done.
But on a completely different note, Hannah -- who is not quite 10, I might point out -- has asked me to read her The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy for a bedtime story. Based purely on her reaction to the prologue and the first few pages of Chapter 1, I think she's going to have a blast. Have I mentioned lately exactly how cool my daughter is?
I went to the Hot Topic store to get my CB t-shirt yesterday. I feel so old when I go in there. Mostly because I heard all the music they're playing now the first time around, back when I used to dress like those guys do. But I did what I needed and got the shirt(s) and...
I want to start writing again. I mean, I do... every single day. It's just not stuff for my end purposes. My muse needs more sleep than I've been getting.
And... my hair is paler now. And trimmed up nicely, and I might even take pictures tomorrow. I might even go for a photo shoot. It might be time.
One more thing. I'm so very pleased to see that
amberdulen has put Chapter 8 of The Scarlet Raven on the Sugar Quill. If you haven't read this story, you're missing something special. She's a very good writer; her style is breezy and accessible, and the story itself is quite wonderful. If you're looking for a good Percy fic, you'll have fun with this one.
