I finished all my outstanding beta-reading today. Soon you'll be able to see new chapters on the Sugar Quill from cubs9911, May Phoenix, Potions Gurl, and Silverthreads.

And if I can talk her into posting a one-shot, something from Hunter's Moon as well.

Which means that it's time for me to get back to my own writing for a little bit, while I have a break. [cue football announcer: 2 minute warning. 2 minutes, 2 minutes.]

But first, an article from the Daily Prophet for Dogstar. I have a confession to make: writing these articles and the ones for the Quibbler on the board are one of my guilty little pleasures. I adore making them up and I adore the drama and trauma that they cause, and I adore them as Greek Chorus for my roleplay board, reflecting the goings-on and gently directing the action. It's a hoot, it's a great exercise, and it's more fun than eating a buttermilk bar from Starbucks.

Meanwhile, I idly look up the price of Sting tickets for the Broken Music tour, because my mind is unable to grasp the range of $100-$250 I found the other day and it thinks there must be a huge mistake. Remember when concert tickets were $25 tops? I saw The Police from the 7th row at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston and the tickets were maybe $18 each.

Aha! now this is better. Fuck you, ticket brokers! U of O has them listed at this:
Sting
4.3.05
MacArthur Court @ 7:00 pm
Floor seating: $38.75. 100 Level: $67.50. 200&300 Level: $52.00

See? That I can do. Even for a guy who wrote a stalker song that earns him over $2000 per day in royalties. That'll teach him to write the most-requested song ever for American radio.
