Life is Just a Dream, You Know...

I have some catch-up to play, so this will be random.

1. I thought of you yesterday, unioncityblue5. Heart of Glass came on the radio. 'Nuff said.


2. erised1810, I got your gift! Thank you! I've been beta-reading all day, but I will read it later on, when I have time and quiet and can give it the proper attention. ♥ to you!


3. I think our red-finned shark died while we were gone. He was a peaceful little algae eater. R.I.P. Sharky. :(


4. I had a lot of cats on me when I woke up this morning. In fact, I was pinned in and couldn't move.


5. Making up Hannah's mid-year conference with her teacher tomorrow. I don't "get" her teacher at all. She's off somehow, but hey. Only another half a year to endure, and then we're on to the 5/6 teacher, whom everyone says is one of those teachers you only get once in a lifetime: the best ever. I'm really looking forward to that.


6. Being able to RP different characters is such a gift. As most of you know I've RPed Sirius for the past 2 years and I love him very much; he's my heart and soul. He's been gracious enough to time-share my brain with a variety of other HP characters: Charlie Weasley, Dobby, an OC werewolf girl. Now he's grudgingly let me step outside the HP universe to be a less angsty person in Spike. Totally different mindsets. If anyone out there cares enough to know how I separate them in my mind [compartment A, compartment B], just ask. I'll be glad to let you know.


7. fourish, are you sure that what happened today wasn't just an unfortunate side-effect of LJ maintenance? I hope that's all it was, but if it wasn't and you need a posse, let me know.


8. I love Dogstar. There are things in the works for that place. One of my challenges as admin (probably my biggest single challenge as admin) is to keep things fresh there. At a school roleplay setting it's so easy to just fall into classes, holiday. Classes, holiday. We have more. We have a war against the Ministry. We have challenges. We have surprises. We have good plotlines and eh! plotlines, but I love our players. We're a quality crew.

I think that's about all that's in my brain at the moment.
