Teaching 2 virtual classes and one real-life one, and parenting my 9-year-old daughter and writing fanfics and beta reading and running the board and going on a field trip tomorrow with Hannah's class (and
deborahlive, thank God) and being a couple people too many, at least for part of the time, and keeping up journals and writing original fics too and taking care of the cats and working, mustn't forget working, and feeding the raccoons, and...
The other night, Hannah held an auction for some of her artwork. She used a pencil as a gavel, and earned herself about $7.00, which is pretty good for a kid.
And last night I looked out on my deck and there was a juvenile raccoon curled up on the table sleeping. Just like a cat. Hannah thinks it's Jack come back in that form. She might be right.
I miss my kitties and I have to acknowledge that I'm really in mourning for both of them. But it's easier than wondering how sick Stones would get. He didn't have a chance to get better, poor guy. But I loved every day we had him, and he knew it, too.
