In far more mundane news, I spent the day away from the computer and we all did family stuff together. I think I will skip swimming at Grandma's tonight, though, in favor of having an hour or so to myself. That would be blessedly nice.

There's a small pacific tree frog living in my hose reel. Every time I need to water my plants he comes out, looks very grumpy, and gives me the eyeball. I move him onto the nearby camellia and do my gardening, and sometime after I reel the hose back up, he moves back in. I think I should name him.

Ack. All out of nyjer seed, too, for the goldfinches.
