Just back from the airport.

Mitch made it in, glad to say. It was a really long day for him; he left Helsinki Friday at 7am and got back to Portland Friday 7pm. Then we have to factor in the +10 hour time difference... he's one tired pupdawg. He brought me back a beautiful pair of sterling silver earrings. They remind me of snow in fir trees. I don't know how else to describe them.

I'm glad he's home.

Speaking of dogs, I saw this bumper sticker today and thought of you, sff_corgi:

If I wanted to hear the pitter-patter of little feet, I'd put shoes on my dog.

Wow. Things should be almost back to normal for a few days here. On Thursday, silvestri and her family arrive. Whee! Can't wait; her son is a year younger than Hannah so they should either a) have a blast or b) fight tooth and nail the whole time. I vote for option 'A.'
