First Day of Summer Vacation!
Jun. 11th, 2004 04:52 pmDon't I wish! Hannah's summer vacation anyhow. She just turned to me and said 'First day of summer vacation and I'm already bored!'
Heh. *cough* I'm too tired to be entertaining; we had to get up early and get Mitch to the airport so he could go to Atlanta, and from there wend his way across the ocean and a continent to get to Helsinki and then Kuopio. I don't think he would admit it, but he was a leetle nervous about this trip. It's the first time he's traveled solo this far away since we became a family, and... I have his contact information but he says email is the best way to get him there. Hokay, we'll see.
Anyhow, back to the ennui of summer holiday: we have an exciting trip to the supermarket on the boards for later. At the moment, though, I'm just pleased to be able to journal so that I can show off the new icon that![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sff_corgi made for me... even though it's not particularly appropriate to this post. I think I'll share it with sosirius 'cause, ya know, it works for him too. I've avoided using his icons, but this one is sweet. Thanks for the idea, carlythemeek.
