Let's see what happens because... just because I don't have enough other stuff to do. I'm not sure I'll make anyone's day, but I'll do my best.

What did everyone do during the LJ downtime? I wrote bios for some of my RP characters. I finished my beta reading. I was housebound because of a lovely ice storm that had all the roads closed. I watched football with Mitch and played with the cats. I braved the sheer sheet of ice that is the front path out of our house to go feed the stray cat who's been living in our garage since before Thanksgiving, and went and filled the bird feeders too. We've had a flock of Varied Thrushes hanging about all winter and they're very beautiful.

And now that LJ is back, it's one of those cases of "I can't live without you! Oh, you're back again, are you?" So I'm off to clean up and do a few things I've been wanting to do but didn't have the energy for lately. And seeing as how tomorrow is a holiday and we all have the day off before Mitch leaves for his two-week extravaganza... did I mention he's going to Majorca? Damn. Of all the places I don't get to go.

Mary Shelley came to mind for a few reasons. First, she was a woman doing things in a man's world when she wrote Frankenstein. She did it on a challenge, you know, and received the information for it from a dream she had. She also did things that men at the time said couldn't be done (a woman writing a compelling horror story).

So since you gave yourself the December writing challenge...

to be very very honest, the gift fic challenge consisted of finishing a lot of wips (one of whichI started two years ago) and combining little snippets into fics. it gave me more soties-to-possibly-continue. adn it isn't all the unpublished stuffI have :).; i stil have one huge marauders-story that I should finally clean up further and show the world. I had SO!MUCH1FUN WRITING THAT-ONE. LOOK BACK IN MY LJ IF YOU'RE BORED SOME TIME. BACK IN JANUARY 2004 i WROTE ABOUT WHAT i WAS WRITING. THOSE WERE RALLY REALL YGOOD DAYS.
THE SIRIUS-WRITING DAYS IN MY LIFE HAVE BEEN GOOD IN GENERALL. i SHOD FINAL YGETTO POSTING ROUDNS OF SHOWIGN WHAT i GAVE THE OTHERS.
