I've done this before, but
drachenaugen brought it back.
Since I have different books handy, here goes:
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your own bulletin...along with these instructions.
5. Don't search around and look for the "coolest" book you can find. Do what's actually next to you.
Here goes:
Lee became so adept in closing the distance and in other fighting methods that it became unnecessary for him to employ trapping techniques.
Does that work for y'all? A few of you will know what that's all about.
Jeet Kune Do Basics, David Cheng
In other news (hey, it's been a fun day!) I finished almost all of my beta-reading (thanks, Patricia, for making that statement need the "almost" when you sent that chapter back so quickly) and have been having fun inside
sosirius's brain here.
I'm ready for my angst now, Mr. DeMille.
lostinapapercup and
sff_corgi: the two of you are keeping me sane this week. Thank you.
