Cape Cod, day after Thanksgiving

Honestly, it's very beautiful here this time of year. Today was crowded and I remind myself that no matter where people are, it's shopping Friday. Go figure. The streets of Provincetown were very, very crowded.
So we went to the beaches instead, and it was cold and windy and clear, and we didn't stay out long but it was enough to get a feel for wintertime on the cape, and I'm glad we did. Beautiful sunny chilly day today.
Half the family leaves tomorrow; the rest of us leave on Sunday. Mitch and Hannah and I overnight in Boston and then we part ways in Cincinnati. He goes off to Chicago for a week and Hannah and I go home. I'm ready.
All in all, this has been primarily pleasant. Better than I expected. A few bumps in the road, but when you have 11 people living together for a week, there are bound to be a few of those.
