Those were both too predictable. And... why can't people spell? I'm always fixing the spelling on quizzes because it just bugs me.

Some of us want to know why WE can't spell, too?!! As an adult with Dyslexia, I can tell you how frustrating and humiliating it is to be unable to 'see' your spelling mistakes. Spell check is difficult as useless for me because of the similarity in words. For example, I made a humorous mistake my beta JediB pointed out with regards to the word gentle. The quote in my story was something like...' Snape brushed Raven's hair aside with a gentle touch, a gesture Madam Pomfrey had never seen from him before...'. I ran spell check because I can't spell and replaced the word to genital. This, of course, turns the whole story into eugh...father/daughter smut and my beta got a hoot out of it because she knows I'm hot for Snape. Brought up the whole Freudian issue. Anyway, I have trouble seeing the differences between gentle, gentile, genial and genital. Basically my brain just makes mishmash out of the letters and they all look the same.

Sorry, I hope I didn't offend you or anyone else... but now I want to read the Freudian version of your story.

And of course, spell check is useless in general. Sometimes the end result of using it is far more amusing than we intended the first (correct) time around.
