A Less Fangrrlish Moment

I saw Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban again today. Why, why, why. Hannah decreed it and my parents were game, so we went. It didn't bug me as much as the last time, very curious. I realized much to my dismay that I could recite a lot of the dialog along with the movie. But I didn't, because that's an annoying thing to do.
My parents haven't read any of the books and have only seen the first HP movie. They missed COS entirely (although I'm threatening to make them watch it while they're here), but they were both extremely positive about POA. Afterwards I filled in a lot of the blanks for them but my Mom said that she still thought the movie stood on its own merits.
One vote in the Alfonso CuarĂ³n column.
I still love the things about it I loved the first time: Emma Thompson, the map, Buckbeak. I wasn't even as fussed over Malfoy's portrayal as before because... he's a snivelling weakling, just like in the books. But I still hate that fourth unnamed Slytherin crony because he was just so unnecessary. Blah.
Hannah, who said she was all done seeing it in the theatre, loved it again, even though she still insists that they got Sirius's characterization all wrong. That's my girl. Now I feel like going off and being
sosirius for a few days solid. The tail I could live with but the fleas--they're murder.
For some time, my life will be too unpredictable.
Padfoot forever.
Off to watch Pirates of the Caribbean. My folks haven't seen that yet either.
