Lots to do, lots to do.

I sound like Hagrid.

I have to make a portrait of the Fat Lady for our front door and figure out how to set up a Potions Lab in our kitchen for 8 kids. That should be fun. A few more activity ideas and we'll be good to go. These are 9-year-olds; they don't need quite as much supervised activity as little kids at a party.

I'm going as 5th-year-Prefect!Remus. Should be fun. There's no full moon. :)

Off to do things. And somewhere in here, I really need to write. I owe a finish to Ferret Day, at the very least, and I have ideas for my original fic that want a good piece of time. I guess after Saturday I'll be able to do all that.

Wish me luck. I do busy as well as the next person--maybe even better--but it makes me just a teensy bit anxious. ReikiReikiReiki!

Oh and one more thing:

HUGE HUGS to [livejournal.com profile] perceval, because she could use them.

Remember -- Jell-O is your friend! Get some coloured sugars, they'll do interesting dissolvey things in the moisture.

Hey, thanks.

I was just premenstrual, and I am still too busy for my own good.

The nerves were before the pre-assessment, which I apparently passed, since my instructor told me something about not having to worry because I'd be passing with flying colours. Or something along those lines.

It was so complicated - first time I'd worked with couch roll, first time I'd worked with proper towel use. Before, I used to more or less muddle, and since I almost always do a full chest and abdomen anyway, I knew that my ladies don't mind me seeing their breasts.

But I'm getting there.

We're required here by law to keep any area we're not working on covered up, so breast draping is something we teach very early on to the massage students. They have to be comfortable with it, or they won't pass their board exams. We also do abdominal and chest massage separately, so that the breasts are covered (in women, anyway) while working the abdominal area.

Different regulations! The state of Oregon allows breast massage, but my insurance coverage doesn't. It's rather a conundrum, that. I've never had anyone ask for it, but it's really great for lactating moms and those who've had breast augmentation surgery. Or even breast reduction surgery, as it can help with the scarring.

I'm going to look for that book for you on Thursday when I'm at the massage school, by the way. If there are any used copies, I'll get you one and send it with your magazines. This month. It's not that I'm that lazy... it's just that your package isn't yet complete.

Did you find your rings?
