Even on the east coast, people don't realize how big the states are west of the Mississippi. Texas has deserts, pine woods, beaches, and a little area that supposedly looks just like the Swiss Alps.
I hope the writing and exercise went well! And I'm going to try to find Felidae. It sounds a bit like The Unscratchables, and I really liked that one!
