In honor of Valentine's Day, a writing challenge!
Rules:
Fandom: any fandom.
Word count: According to my sources, a drabble is precisely 100 words. No more, no less.
Main theme: What's love got to do with it?
Ratings: No restrictions.
Duration: Challenge opens now (February 12) and runs for a week. Closes at the end of day Friday, February 19.
A while ago I did an experiment in precise writing with ficlets of exactly 100 words and it was so much fun and I felt so accomplished that I decided to do it again. But I get bored looking at my own stuff, so... here you go. We should all be able to come up with 100 words in a week's time, right?

Nothing and Everything

Rating: PG, I suppose
Nothing.
Nothing for it, they told him. The attack too quick, her decision not to leave even quicker, her wand shielding, laying cover – others tended the wounded.
Nothing but chaos, the cutting hex hitting her, her wand remaining a blur, until there was nothing left for her to give.
Everything.
The ring, burning a hole in his pocket but not like he thought it would. Everything depending on the question that had no answer now. Everything was different, every decision unchanged.
In crisp, new Auror robes, there was nothing left to die for, but there was everything to fight for.
