Find what you lost and get it back. Go.
I don't know if I've ever mentioned, this but I'm a little bit fond of Cowboy Bebop. I have a small and elite handful of favorite episodes -- about 20 out of the 26 -- and out of that small and elite handful, I'm such a sucker for 12 and 13, Jupiter Jazz Parts 1 and 2. They have Gren: how can they be bad?
My big beef with 13 is that the art is really sub-par. There are only a few scenes I can watch where I don't think that, sadly enough, because it's an absolutely beautiful and tragic story arc and I love it so much that it breaks my heart every single time. Needless to say, with a character that only appears in one or two episodes, cels are hard to find and cels from Jupiter Jazz Part 2 where I feel the art is up to standard are even harder. The cel I got most recently can't really be said to have Gren in it, but it has part of him in it, anyway, and finally, I can see the true and intended color of Spike's puffy not really pink winter jacket.
Here's the latest addition to my Bebop cel collection. The picture's a little blurry and you can see the sketch behind it, but the sketch isn't stuck. It's only a partial sketch anyway, Gren's hand and arm and a little bit of Spike, but the cel itself is in pristine condition, nice and sharp.
One of these days I'll have to start my own off-LJ gallery. On Rubberslug, maybe, or somewhere else. I'm just so honored to own another original piece of Bebop.

*hugs* I shall tag you when I am at home. I've got to catch up with a few things. I have been distracted by house buying adventures.
Which, by the way, are paying off. ;) We have reached an agreement! Now for Purchase & Sales agreement, inspection, appraisal, mortgage finalization and other picture postcards...
:D!
