Spending the day with the family. Hannah and I have had way too much fun.

And thank you, [livejournal.com profile] zahdi, for both things! You made me smile. And thank you for the cards, [livejournal.com profile] perceval and [livejournal.com profile] erised1810, and anyone else I've neglected to mention. No omission is intentional!

And... uh... This arrived today:

It's true: he's nothing but a stubborn show-off, and yeah, it'd kill him to listen to his elders for once. This is my last one. Because now they all have to be framed and that's more expensive than the cels themselves. But I'll be the happiest little clam in the world in my Bebop-inspired workspace.

For those of you who celebrate Christmas, have a very happy Christmas (and Christmas eve tonight). For those who don't, have a wonderful day tomorrow and enjoy the relative peace and quiet and lack of shopping mania. We saw The Golden Compass last night and that was fun. I see another viewing in our future; Hannah really liked it.

Got the catnip mice to put in the lower branches of the tree tomorrow, and... that's about it! ♥ to everyone.

Naturally I missed posting for the Solstice. [wry] Thank you for the Christmas wishes, and it's times of year like this that make me happy the SCA got me shopping for 12th Night instead.

(Not Little Havana, that just makes me want to avoid downtown some more due to the parade/festival crowds.)

Also thanks for the comments on Golden Compass - I saw one unenthusiastic review from somebody whose opinion is quite respectable. That both surprised me and put me off a little, but everybody else who's said anything in my earshot (so to speak) has liked it a lot, so I guess I write it off to normal variation.

I'd love to watch the tree follies. :D

Thank you for the present! ♥

I haven't read the Phillip Pullman books, but Hannah has and says the movie adhered fairly closely, so... that's all well and good. It was fun. The kid actors were... kid actors, but Nicole Kidman's a good bad guy and the CGI is fun.
