Working On My Tan

Not really.

Just feeding the raccoons. [livejournal.com profile] chrysantza, I know you can't take another cat, but perhaps this family of four would like your home better? Keep your squirrel company?

It's not even that late, but I'm inexplicably tired. I decided it was time to retire the little purple backpack of doom, so that means tomorrow I get to move everything into the new animal-friendly vinyl-but-looks-cool-as-leather messenger bag with pockets big enough for my cell phone.

~random~

Dogstar is active again. It's nice. I spent a lot of time on it, and I wasn't sure if it had life left in it or not. Apparently it does, and my challenge is to make the site grow up along with the characters inhabiting it. I think I'm doing a fair job; had a moment's inspiration when I put Dung in there for no good reason and it kind of spiralled, so that's a good thing. And most people who I've talked to said they're glad it's back, so that means all that work over the 2 months wasn't in vain.

I have PsyFurs stuck in my brain. Bah.

Tonight, Mitch and I finally watched Bruce Lee: A Warrior's Journey. He was pretty amazed by it, and by Lee's drive.

Hell, yeah! That's what the guy was all about. It's a really nicely done documentary. I love his early stuff: his screen test for Green Lantern especially. It just kind of makes me melt. Just a little bit.

In other news... it was far too busy a RP day. I need the weekend to myself, to my family. We were ostensibly going to take a family trip on Sunday and Monday, but that's not going to happen. Like so many other things, it fell by the wayside. Maybe we can do day trips instead... but I just booked a massage client for Monday, so that probably won't happen that day.

OK. Tired. I'm rambling. I'm babbling. Those of you who wanted ficlets: this weekend.

'Night, everyone.

There have been raccoons around here, but the management traps and relocates them because, apparently, they can be destructive. So your raccoons would probably be sent right back to Oregon...
