I just realized: my daughter is Hermione.

She really is Hermione.
When we were on the overnight, the kids studied wetlands and waterways. They had a whole series of mini-classes with their own activities, and every single time one of the group leaders would ask a question about the science of what they were doing, Hannah's hand shot into the air. It got to the point where the staff would ask a question, and follow it with "does anyone besides Hannah know the answer?"
Because she was right about 95% of the time.
I love my little Hermione-girl. I'm so proud of her.
